Elmo Birthday Fun

Lily was so excited to get a Happy Birthday Ballon. She had been waiting for it all week. I made Elmo cake, sort of, and the kids loved it. Lily was very happy to have a party and friends to play with. She wasn't quite sure what to think about everyone singing to her, but I think she liked it anyway. Jacob blew out her candles for her, twice, but she didn't seem to mind. It was a fun day. Happy Birthday Lilith!

Christmas memories

Dallas loves his first ear hat!  He is such a ball boy.  He spends most of his time at home throwing and finding a ball.  He could actually say football before he said Mommy.  I think he looks a lot like James what do you think?
Brigham was Rudolph for his elementary Christmas program.  He did a spectacular job dancing in his raindeer costume!  We especially enjoyed the shaking of his fluffy little tail.  :0)

We had a great homemade Christmas!  It was also our first Christmas absolutely at home, which was awesome!  We still missed all of you, but it was nice not to go anywhere.

The little tree worked really well for us this year.  Not too much time to decorate and take down. Also perfect for grabby short kids and allergies.

First Snow

Lily finally got to build a snowman. The snow was really powdery so they just kinda piled it up. They had to use to snow shovel and go walking around the sidewalks to get enough snow for it. But boy was it worth it, Lily was so excitted to play outside and one of her favorite songs is "Once There was a Snowman". There is just a little snow in the shade left today, but the snowman still stands and Lily loves it. I think we will be hearing about the snowman all the time for the next several weeks.
