Floors

Yeah, we have a new floor!!! We have been slipping and sliding all weekend. It took a lot of hard work from Mom and Dad and a lot of long days. But it looks beautiful. Peter was so proud putting in the last board and he says I guess its nice to have a good floor. I just love it. We haven't moved any of the furniture back into the living room so the girls love to slip around on the floor and scream so it echoes. Now we just have to finish the walls and the trim and we will have a brand new house. Yippee!

New Discoveries

We have been having lots of fun the last few weeks. Maren still wont walk on her own, but she loves to push the stool or the little tikes chairs all over. Lily realized that if she pushed a chair over to the dryer she could climb in. Now she races me to the dryer if she sees I have a load of clothes and tries to climb in before I get the clothes in. They both love to climb into the little cabinet under the tv. Maren thinks its all really fun no matter what, but when Maren shut the door with Lily in there Lily gets really scared and starts screaming. That just makes Maren laugh more and Lily tells her "It not funny Me me!". Also it has been warm several days this week and we got to go to a new park. Maren discovered how to climb into the tunnel and wouldn't come out. She would just laugh when all the others kids would come climb through. Peter is busy working every day and my belly is starting to get big again. Thats the news from Louisville. I would love to see more pics and hear stories from all of you. I feel so far away. We love you.

McKay update

I can hardly believe its March ALREADY!  We sure miss you all and can't wait to see you again.  Amy, I'm still working on a plan.  My online classes need a lot more attention, but as a whole I'm doing well in school.  This weekend I'm sewing on my fabric piece.  (And boy is is a piece)  James is itching to get started on his summer projects.  Brigham would like to sign up for summer ball in Stockton.  Mike, maybe you could pick us up a form or something.  

The Hermann FFA had their annual barnyard day for the kids.  It's a lot like a petting zoo in the back parking lot and shed.  I took Carsten and Dallas over for the Parents As Teachers time slot and Addie was bussed over later with her class too.  Dallas really led the way.  He'd get right in the animals faces and give big loves.  Carsten was a bit more shy of the whole thing but hasn't stopped talking about it since.  He really liked "driving" the big John Deer tractor.  The only thing Dallas didn't like was sitting on the pony.  I think he just realized how far away Mommy was. It was just soooo cold!
