Walking Finally!

Maren is still not brave or steady, but at least she is trying. She now takes several trips across the house a day without the help of her favorite chairs. But the chairs are still used plenty for climbing.

A foggy morning!

I took pictures one great foggy morning and something happened to make them all mess up on my memory card.  I was pretty upset as some may recall.  That was weeks ago.  Today was foggy and I WENT PHOTOGRAPHING!  They aren't the same pictures I had, spring has sprung.  The old ones were more dreary.  Amy, this one in particular made me think of you.  PURPLE.

We have had a very fun week. We did an Easter Egg hunt, a friends birthday party, a trip to Peters' Aunt's, Easter morning with baskets and pretty dresses, then Maren' s Birthday. What fun. Wish we were able to spend some of that time with all of you. Hope you all had a great Easter week too. We love you. Jackson, we have been thinking about you and the fam all week also. Take it easy and get all better before you try to do too much. Glad things went so well in the surgery.

Floors

Yeah, we have a new floor!!! We have been slipping and sliding all weekend. It took a lot of hard work from Mom and Dad and a lot of long days. But it looks beautiful. Peter was so proud putting in the last board and he says I guess its nice to have a good floor. I just love it. We haven't moved any of the furniture back into the living room so the girls love to slip around on the floor and scream so it echoes. Now we just have to finish the walls and the trim and we will have a brand new house. Yippee!

New Discoveries

We have been having lots of fun the last few weeks. Maren still wont walk on her own, but she loves to push the stool or the little tikes chairs all over. Lily realized that if she pushed a chair over to the dryer she could climb in. Now she races me to the dryer if she sees I have a load of clothes and tries to climb in before I get the clothes in. They both love to climb into the little cabinet under the tv. Maren thinks its all really fun no matter what, but when Maren shut the door with Lily in there Lily gets really scared and starts screaming. That just makes Maren laugh more and Lily tells her "It not funny Me me!". Also it has been warm several days this week and we got to go to a new park. Maren discovered how to climb into the tunnel and wouldn't come out. She would just laugh when all the others kids would come climb through. Peter is busy working every day and my belly is starting to get big again. Thats the news from Louisville. I would love to see more pics and hear stories from all of you. I feel so far away.
